Multimat Superlite 38 Self Inflating Mats are ideal for insulating sleeping bags from cold ground due to its deeper foam. 

The insulation in these full length mats consists of 16kg/m3 of lightweight PU foam that has holes drilled vertically for a fuller and faster inflation, as well as saving weight. The easy valve allows for quick inflation and deflation, and can be locked when adding extra air by mouth.

To save further weight, the outer shell is manufactured from ultralight 20D rip-stop nylon that is bonded with a TPU membrane for an airtight seal. A water repellent coating to the outer face of the fabric not only protects the sleeping mat from wet ground but also helps to prevent sleeping bag movement when resting.

Although thicker than there Superlite 25 counterparts by an extra 13mm, making them more insulating and cushioning, this extra thickness of foam only adds an extra 130g to the mat at 650g, still making it one of the lightest performance sleeping pads currently available.
